Jessica Young, MD

Jessica Young, MD provides full spectrum care for women of all ages. Dr. Young has a genuine passion for caring for the emotional as well as physical needs, by incorporating the most up to date guidelines in her practice with profound respect and concern for her patients choices, needs and desires.

Dr. Young enjoys following advances in clinical health care, including developments in OBGYN tests and procedures, birth control, and minimally invasive procedures. Being able to help people understand and navigate the changing issues in women's health care is a daily focus, and fits with Dr, Young's philosophy on continuing education for providers and patient education.

In 2022, Dr. Young was awarded the Central Prize Award Issued by The Central Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for research on Factors that Influence the Choice for Neonatal Resuscitation in Periviable Deliveries. This award is for outstanding investigative or clinical work in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

With a degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr Young chose Fairbanks to raise her own child, and is passionate about the outdoors, community involvement and exploring Alaska.
